Can't hook Form Designer form to Web...

I've created files with identical input fields, field names, and values in Web Form Builder and Form Designer
You can see the working web builder form here: https://mfa-sibs.org/QoHwfb/index.html
It works when you hit submit.

I entered the web builder form url (above) in the form designer form container action box and set it to POST

You can see the form designer version here https://mfa-sibs.org/QoHwfb/form.html
When you fill out the form designer version and press submit it DOES NOT HOOK TO THE FORM BUILDER FORM.

I am having the hardest time figuring this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's the web form builder file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/5w07hhxy3g1yflm/QofHWFB.fb?dl=0

Here's the site designer file the web form builder HTML is embedded in: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lkcady7slr30irc/QofHWFB.rsd?dl=0

Here's the form designer file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j3xm0845cjeaq … b.fdp?dl=0

Remove the formmethod="post" from the Form Designer form submit button.
Also the form action isn't correct in your Form Designer form.
action="https://mfa-sibs.org/QoHwfb/index.html"

Set it to
../QofHWFB.php
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Eric,
Thanks for your response - I've made the two changes but it still doesn't work.

looks like your files are corrupt as there's only a bunch of characters showing.

Eric,
Sorry I ended up changes the files around that's why you were seeing machine code.

I've determined that including the script causes me not to be able to hook the custom form to a google form. So I've abandoned that approach and instead embedded a Web Builder Form in a landing page. It's still a work in progress but you can see it here: http://misericordiaraffle.org.

Thanks for your assistance, as always it's spot on, and extremely helpful.

I didn't know you were trying to hook a FD form to a Google form back end. I thought you were trying to hook a FD form to the back end of a Form Builder form.

Ah, my bad - originally I was trying to hook it to a google form. I was looking for the sharing ease that Google Forms offers, just sharing a link to the response spreadsheet.

When I couldn't get that to work I switched to Web Builder Form. But I couldn't get that to work either. So now I've just embedded the Web Builder form in a landing page with Site Designer.

It's still a work in process but here's a look at it's current state: http://misericordiaraffle.org

Right now I'm a little stuck on trying to get the form confirmation response url to open up in a new browser tab instead of opening in the iframe.

I just tested your form and it went back to the form with the link you have on there below the payment button. Maybe a little more explanation. Do you want the confirmation with the pay button to open in a new tab?

Would love to see a video on how this works.
I have been using form builder for years, but as we move to a more responsive website, form designer makes more sense and adds a lot more options. Looks like the action needs to point to the path of the .php file, so that answers one question. There must be another action somewhere that I don't see because it just doesn't seem to do anything when clicking the button.

Going directly to the "index" page of the Form Designer works fine, so the form is working. Of course I've checked and double checked that all of my field names are EXACTLY the same, as I know one character off and that can cause things to fail. Not sure where else to look.

Thanks, would love to hear your input if you've made it work.
