I would like to be able to resize the remove files window. I've got some pretty long file names or long directory trees and it's hard to scroll left and right to make sure your selecting the right file.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Can you add the file name of the image to the Object Properties?

Right now, if I add picture, e.g. a jpg file, to the page there is no way in VSD that I can figure out which photo I selected. I have to Preview and do a Right click and View Image Info. This tells me that the file name is available to VSD. On my web site I have a bunch of similar pictures. Would be nice to know which one is which.
I have an inferiority complex - but it is not a very good one.

I'm not following you completely. I know you can't link grouped objects but I've linked objects and then grouped them and they kept thier links.

Eric, I tried again and it works now. I find VSD is so fickle. Sometimes things work and sometimes they don't work! I like the new 7.11 version but so far it's still throwing me curves and I get so discouraged. I don't think it's my laptop because strange things happen on my desktop version, too. My complaint now is that the "publish" feature stinks. I am only successful uploading using FileZilla.

Thanks for the feedback. I can see why you were confused by my request. It's supposed to work this way every time.

That is the hard way of going about it. Just click on the image and look in the status bar. The image name is located right there.

I can click on some images and their name shows and some don't show in the status bar.

Well I'll be a monkey's uncle! It was that easy...

Thanks Scott

P.S. What type of image does not show, Eric?

Has anyone requested the ability to leave properties windows open? It would be great if you could have mouseover, fill, and link open at the same time... Thanks for the great software and support!

One is a jpg on one of my sites index pages. I can goto that page and right click save picture as. I never noticed that it's name ddn't show in VSD status bar. I do believe it's the only image thats doing this. I already checked to see if It's grouped with anything and it's not.

CENTER ALIGNMENT FOR OBJECTS:

I can't believe that after so many versions, this has not been added yet.
You can right click on a group of objects and align them all ways but "center".

Why is that?

The older versions allowed you to open two instances of VSD at once. The newer on does not.
This was a great feature for swapping things from one project to the other. Anyway to fix it?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
