Could you please detail the functions inside Free Zip Wizard?
CoffeeCup Free Zip Wizard makes it easy to Zip and Un-Zip files. It has built-in FTP functions, so you can Zip and send your files in one easy step.
1. Un-Zipping
The first menu that comes up when you start the program gives you several options. You can Un-Zip a ZIP file, create a new ZIP file, or search for ZIP files on your computer.
If you choose to Un-Zip a ZIP file it will ask you which ZIP file you want to unzip. Browse on your computer to the ZIP file and click Open.
The next screen will show you the contents of that ZIP file.
The next screen will ask you where you want to Un-Zip the files to. Once you have selected your Directory, click Un-Zip It!
2. Creating
If you choose to create a new ZIP file, you will be prompted to choose what files you want the ZIP file to include. Choose the directory and filename you want your ZIP file to have.
Browse to and select the files you want included in the ZIP file. Click Open once you have selected them.
You can click Add Files again to keep adding files.
You can choose the amount of compression you want for the ZIP, if you want it to save the directory structure and you can also password protect it.
After you've created a ZIP file, you can choose to Upload it to your web server.
3. Uploading
If you choose to upload the ZIP file, you will need to add a profile with your FTP settings and then upload it.
If you do not have this information you can request it from your Webhosting Provider.
4. Searching
If you choose to Search for ZIP files on your computer you will be given the option to choose what name you are looking for, and in what folders. You can also search subfolders for your ZIP file.
5. Miscellaneous
To associate CoffeeCup Free Zip Wizard to the ZIP files on your PC, click Start > Programs > CoffeeCup Software > Free ZIP Wizard > Re-associate CoffeeCup Free Zip Wizard.
Once your computer uses the CoffeeCup Zip Wizard to handle ZIP files, you can activate the program simply by double-clicking on a ZIP file in your computer.
