Adding Website Search to your FrontPage design webpage is very easy and is remarkable similar to adding it to a CoffeeCup HTML Editor designed page.  Follow the steps below and you will be able to add the search to your site.

Step 1:

Use CoffeeCup Website Search to create your search and after clicking the Save button in the HTML Settings screen you will be shown the image below. To make this easier, you will want to save the files to the same folder (locally) as contains the webpage where the search will reside.  This will help you later when you need to upload the files.

Step 2:

You can use the Upload Now button to upload your files if you are certain you know the location where they are supposed to be on the server.  They need to be in the same folder on the server as the webpage which contains the search. Click the Copy to Clipboard button and the code will be moved to the Windows clipboard.  (This process happens behind the scenes so you will not see it happen.)

Step 3:

Bring FrontPage back up, or open it if it was not open already.  Next open the page you want the search be located in and make sure you are in Code view.  Paste (Ctrl +V or Right-click > Paste) the code into the body section of your webpage.  You can see the results in the image below.

Note: You MUST use the HTML code generated by our program or the some of the settings for the search will not be available.

Note 2: The search will not function when previewed locally on your computer due to the PHP file which actually performs the search.

Step 4:  Save your webpage and upload it to you server.  If you did not already, you will need to upload the required files from the first image in this tutorial.  (PHP, SWF, TXT and XML.  The HTML file is not needed because you have the code in your webpage already.) These file MUST BE in the same folder on the server as this page where you paste the HTML code.  If they are not, the search will not function properly.
