Creating Your Own Fonts
So you want to use your own fonts with our program. Follow these instructions to add in your own Fonts.
Note: You must use Macromedia Flash to do this. Other applications may convert TTF to SWF but they still will not work inside of CoffeeCup Flash Website Font.
Another alternative is to check out http://www.fontsmack.com/, They have a great selection of fonts already converted to SWF.
Step by step instructions on making your own SWF fonts:
- Make sure to close Website Font
- Download the file so you can make your own fonts here
- Open sifr.fla in Macromedia Flash
- Select Ctrl+L to view the 'Library'
- Double click on 'Holder' in the library
- Click where it says 'do not remove this text'
- Select Ctrl+F3 to view properties
- In the properties change the font to the new font you want
- Ctrl+Enter to build and run the new flash movie
- Open the folder that has sifr.fla, there is now a file called sifr.swf, this is the new flash font file that we need. (you can double click it to see if the new font is actually there) copy sifr.swf to a separate folder and rename it the name of the font you used.
- Now, go back to step 6 and repeat 7-10 for each font you want to use...
- Lastly, move the flash fonts to C:\Program Files\CoffeeCup Software\CoffeeCup Flash Website Font\fonts
When you open Website Font again, the new fonts will be listed in the Font Face drop-down list.
