Tell a Friend About Our Cool Software
In order to display your images on the Web, you need a Website to upload to. If you do not have a Website, you should contact Blue Domino to find out about getting some Web space. If you already have a site, you will need the basic FTP information (hostname, username, and password) from you hosting company before you set up CoffeeCup WebCam to upload.
To enter your FTP information in WebCam, click the
button.
You will want to use the Easy FTP Upload first, as it is the fastest and easiest way to get WebCam working.
On the Basic Settings Tab, enter the FTP information provided by your host. Here is a rundown on what to enter:
On the first blank, you can choose to add more than one FTP site by clicking the Add button, or you can simply leave the setting at default to enter one server profile.
Server Name: Enter the FTP host name/address your host company gave you to use.
Username and Password: Here you enter the username and password your host gave to you.
Folder on your Website to upload to: Here you specify the folder/directory you will be uploading to, relative to the root.
Name of image on Website: Enter whatever file name you want the image to be saved as. You can leave it as webcam.jpg, if you wish.
When you have entered your information, you are ready to start uploading images. To upload one image, use the
button. To upload images at the rate you defined in the FTP settings, use the
button.
