How (and where) do I put the .class file(s) on my website?

The .class file(s) must be placed in the same directory as your website, both on your local drive and on the server in order for the applet to display correctly. To copy the .class file(s) into the correct directory, you will need to have your finished applet open in the Java Applet program, and Windows Explorer open to the folder containing your webpage. Once you have done this, follow these steps to copy the .class file into your web directory:

1.)Go to the "HTML" tab of the Java Applet program and click under Required Files, on the name of the file, or on the words ".class files".
2.)When the Explorer window containing the class file(s) appears, highlight the file or files that you need, and choose "Edit" > "Copy"
3.)Switch to Windows Explorer, with your web directory open, and choose "Edit" > "Paste".
4.)When it's time to upload your site, be sure to upload the .class file, in binary mode, to the same directory as your webpage.
