The Design tab enables you to style the look and feel of the new feeds to match that of the reset of your site. The toolbar buttons perform the same operations as they do in the Create and Upload tab. (Click on them if you have questions.) You can also change the Scroll Speed and the Headline Pause here as well.  Each option is explains below the image.

 

 

 

Width/ Height - This controls the dimensions of the news feed area. 

 

Style - This is the background of the Blog.  You can choose from three options Solid, Gradient and Image.

 

Gradient Colors - If you use a Gradient for your background, this is where you choose the colors.

 

Transparency -  You can make the Blog transparent so the background of your webpage shows through.

 

Show Border / Dashed - You can select the type of border you want displayed in your Blog.

 

Border Color -  If you chose a border, this is where you can pick the color.

 

Scroll Direction - The direction the Blog entry will scroll when the Back or Next buttons are selected.

 

Transition Color - The color that will display when the Blog moves from one entry to the next.

 

Only Show Headlines - This options will make the news feed only show the headline and not part of the story.

 

Scroll Speed - The speed at which the headlines will scroll.  Use the slider to adjust the speed.

 

Headline Pause - The length of time a headline will appear in the new area before it moves.  Use the slider to adjust the length of time.

 

Along with the options for the style, there are the options for the text entries.  These included the Font face, color, size and style.  You can change each of these options for the five types of texts in the Blog.  To edit a type of text, click on the text in the design area then change the Font information.  Don't forget to save.
