Tell a Friend About Our Cool Software
This wizard will design the frames settings for your main page. Here are the details for each blank:
Preview Window: By clicking on the frame in the preview window, you can assign properties to each. At the very least, make sure you set the Frame Name and Source URL for each frame.
Frame Style: Here you enter the style of frames you want shown on your page.
Frame Width and Height: Here you can enter the percent of the screen the frame will fill.
Frame Scrolling: This setting controls weather or not the user can scroll along the frame.
Auto: A scroll bar will appear when the document is too big to fit in the frame.
Yes: A scroll bar will always appear for the selected frame
No: A scroll bar will never appear, even if the document in the frame won't fit.
Allow Frame Resize Box: If this box is checked, a viewer can resize the frame.
Frame Border: Check the box and you can specify a width for a frame border (in pixels).
Frame Name: Allows you to name your frame. This box is very important, as it allows you to target the frame when you want to refresh the frames contents
Source URL: This is the page that you want displayed when your frameset is loaded. You must create this URL as a separate HTML file before it can be seen.
Once you have entered the required information, hit cool, and the frame designer will write the HTML code for you. If you have already created the HTML files that will be the source for each frame, hit preview and you should be able to view your page, frames and all!
