I don't know HTML, can I still use the program?
Using
CoffeeCup HTML requires that you understand the basics of
HTML, but you don't need to be an expert. In fact, just reading the online help files should be enough to get you up and running. Follow our examples from the tutorials, and you will have your own page created in no time. If you have a specific question on how to do something, the help files contain specifics on a variety of tasks. Just check search the Table of Contents for your question.
Creating a web page is a bit like making a batch of chocolate chip cookies. Some people may be able to walk into a kitchen and make a perfectly delicious batch of cookies from scratch, without even glancing at a recipe. Other people may have to go through batch after batch of terrible tasting cookies until finally they stumble onto the right combination of ingredients.
Luckily, recipes for chocolate chip cookies do exist, and if you don't know the first thing about cooking, you will carefully read the recipe before you begin. It's the same way when creating a web page. Consider these help files as a recipe for your web page, and the
CoffeeCup HTML Editor as your kitchen. After reading the tutorials carefully, combine some hard work with a bit of inspiration, and you'll find your self with a great web page.
If you've looked through the Table of Contents, and can't find information on what you are trying to do, feel free to contact our
Technical Support with your question.
