This is the area where a user can adjust the guts to the program. The first tab contains general program settings including the startup options for the Editor mode and for the initial document type. This is also the area that a user can use to activate an options that had previously turned off, such as Auto Spell Check.

The Files tab allows the user to adjust the file extensions that are categorized with each file type. For instance the user could add .htm if it were not already in the correct field.

The Testing & Uploading tab allows the user to choose, if they have not access the Favorite Browser feature before, or change the browser to another. To add a favorite browser the user will need to click the folder button then navigate to the EXE file on their computer. The user can also compress the html files for uploading by selecting that option here. Note: This feature is not really necessary any longer as Dial-Up is fast enough to download most HTML files quickly.

This area allows the user to set up outside programs to they can be accesses inside CoffeeCup HTML Editor. The first application field has already been taken up by FREE FTP. FREE FTP is a FTP Client that has been packaged with HTML 2005 for ease of use. These program can initially be set up through the Applications area but can be edited here. Users are now allowed to link to any type of file, not just exe files.

The Directories tab is the tab where a user can change their working folder to another location on their computer. The other folders are the locations our program will open when the user clicks on Insert Image or Insert Sound.

The Toolbars tab allows the user to Remove and Rename Toolbar configurations saved under the Toolbars and Menus area.

The Highlighting tab allows a user to change the Highlighter options for a particular Setting. Click the Modify button to Edit the colors as well as the character sets. All the Modify Settings can be found under Editor Options.
