Customizing the Toolbars

Moving the Toolbars

Move the mouse pointer to the edge of the Toolbar. Click and hold the mouse down on the toolbar handle and drag the toolbar to its new location. If you move the Toolbar over the workspace, it will then become a Floating Toolbar.

You can move it back into position quickly by double-clicking the floating Toolbar caption (colored window top). Clicking on the X will remove the Toolbar from the Interface.>

Removing or Restoring Toolbars

To remove a toolbar, right-click in the Toolbar area. A menu will appear showing which Toolbars are active and inactive. To remove or restore a toolbar, simply click on the name of the toolbar.

Adding or Removing Icons from a Toolbar

Repeat the same steps for removing or restoring toolbars, except this time click on Customize. This will open up the Customize window.

From here you can add, remove, rename, delete, or add toolbars. Clicking on the Commands tab will take you to this window:

In this section you can assign which Icon will go in which Toolbar. Drag and Drop Icons to their new position on the Interface (a menu OR a toolbar), or Drag and Drop existing Icons back to the Customize window to remove them from a menu OR toolbar.
