Customize the variables

Under the program Preferences, you will find settings that allow you to edit many different aspects of the program.

  • Automatically open last project on startup: Pretty self explanatory. ;)
  • Chart File Time Display: This will allow you to change the time format from seconds to milliseconds on the graphs.
  • Chart File Weight Display: This will allow you to change the file size from Bytes, KB or MB on the graphs.
  • Ignore Google Analytics Requests: Used in congestion with the Metrics tab. If you wish to ignore Google Analytics™, in the waterfall cart, check this box.
  • Presets: Presets allow you to customize your caution levels and warning levels into 3 types; Strict, Medium and Lowest. Select the preset you wish to use and customize the corresponding levels.
  • Caution Level: Used on the Summary Tab, when these thresholds are met, the circle colors around File Requests, Page Weight and Load Speed will turn to Yellow.
  • Warning Level: Used on the Summary Tab, when these thresholds are met, the circle colors around File Requests, Page Weight and Load Speed will turn to Red.
 

Did you know?

These presets are used as the default settings for new viewports. You can individually customize under the Viewports.

  • Description: The description you enter here will be used in the viewport drop down lists on each of the Tabs.
  • Height & Width: Enter the height and width in pixels that are used for this viewport.
  • Presets: Presets allow you to customize your caution levels and warning levels into 3 types; Strict, Medium and Lowest. Select the preset you wish to use and customize the corresponding levels.
  • Caution Level: Used on the Viewports Tab, when these thresholds are met, the dots in each column will turn to Yellow.
  • Warning Level: Used on the Viewports Tab, when these thresholds are met, the dots in each column will turn to Red.
 

Did you know?

When you customize these settings, they will override the default Caution and Warning Levels.
