Don’t Use Under Construction Pages.

Don’t use under construction pages. Simply put, if your page isn’t ready yet, don’t put it up! There is nothing more useless to your users than clicking on a link to find that the page is under construction and that there is absolutely no content there. If you do have content there that is partially ready for your users to see, you can use a “last updated” so that your users know that you are updating the page. Lastly, if you have links to the under construction page, disable or remove them until the page is actually ready for viewing by your users. Incomplete webpages are terrible for search engines. Search engines like content, and if there is nothing for them to see they more than likely will not index your page. If they do index the page, your rankings will be so low that no one will ever find it.
