Font usage is one of the most common problems encountered by users when visiting websites. Either the font is too small, or you can't see the font because of the background color, and the contrast makes it almost impossible to read. You should use a reasonable font size of at least 10 points if your site design allows for it.
Do not use a busy background pattern on your page. While it may look nice, it can make it harder for your users to read what you have to offer. Instead, maximize the contrast if you are using a colored background other than white.
