Converting an Animation to Flash™
Converting an animated GIF into a Flash™ file is a great way to save disk space, because Flash™ files are up to 80% smaller than their GIF counterparts.
The first step is to navigate to File menu > Save as Macromedia Flash™. You will then be prompted to save the file onto your computer.
Once you have saved the file, a window will appear displaying the HTML code you need to place on every page where you want your Flash™ movie to appear. Copy this code and paste it between the body tags on your HTML page. Make sure the SWF file you have saved is in the same folder as your Webpage, otherwise the movie will not play.
