What Are Advanced Queries?
Advanced queries enable you to perform special tasks on search engines.

Google Queries?
To check for all links to a given URL, use the query of form: link:SiteURL. For example, use link:www.google.com to search for all links to www.google.com.

To search pages on a specific website, use the query of form: site:SiteURL Terms. For example, use site:www.yahoo.com download to search for all pages containing the term "download" on yahoo.com.

To search for all pages in which the URL contains a specific word, use the form: allinurl:word. For example, use allinurl:download to search for all pages that contain "download" in the URL.

To view the Google Cache, use the query of form: cache:SiteURL. For example, use cache:www.yahoo.com to view the Google Cache of yahoo.com.

AllTheWeb Queries?
To check for all links to a given URL, use the query of form: link.all:SiteURL. For example, use link.all:www.alltheweb.com to search for all links to www.google.com.

To use the AllTheWeb URLInvestigator, simply search for the URL you wish to investigate. For example, www.yahoo.com.
