Optimizing your Animation
The optimization tool is a way to decrease the file size of your GIF file. It will not affect the way the animation is displayed, nor will it decrease the quality of the animation in any way. Instead, it will compile data from your animation and create a new file (overwriting the old file if you choose) that will be as streamlined as possible. To use the optimizer, go to Tools > Optimize Animation.
You will then be taken through a wizard that will allow you to set options for the optimization process, and then display the amount of space running the optimizer will save.
