Tell a Friend About Our Cool Software
To start a new animation, click File > New. This will open a wizard allowing you to enter the settings for your animation. This tutorial will guide you through the steps in the creation wizard.
Frame Position and Size
If images inserted into your animation don't match the size of other images, the image can either be positioned in the left corner of the frame or the center of the frame. By checking the box "Scale frames to fit," you can choose to resize each frame to fit each particular image, instead of clipping off parts that don't fit. Finally, you can elect to make your animated GIF transparent.
Here you can set how many times you want your animation to loop, if you want it to loop at all. You can also set the frame delay, which will determine the speed of the animation. If you are not sure how the frame delay will affect the speed, just leave the default value, and you will be able to change the frame delay later during testing.
Frame Images
Finally, it's time to start inserting your images. Click the Add Image button to browse your computer for the image file you want to insert. The images you insert do not need to be GIFs -- other image types, such as JPG or BMP will work fine, too. The images are listed from first to last, and you can change where an image appears in the order using the arrow keys.
