Converting the Animation to Flash
Converting an animated GIF into a Flash file is a great way to save disk space, as Flash files are up to 80% smaller than their GIF counterparts.
The first step is to use File > Save as Macromedia Flash on the main menu. You will then be prompted to save the file onto your computer.
Once you have saved the file, HTML code needed to display your Flash movie will be shown. This code is important, as displaying a Flash Movie is different than displaying a GIF. You can copy the HTML code and then paste it on your page. Make sure the .swf file you have saved is in the same folder as your Webpage, otherwise the movie will not play.
