Hi new to the forum, read some "read before post" and done some searching. but cant find a related issue.

5. its poor coding on my part, I'm sure of it.

Problem:
I have a nice navigation vertical bar, with a jpeg below it. it looks and functions perfectly, until the content extends via text or pics below the nav bar. at that time an unwanted white space is put between the nav bar and jpeg.

my index file as a .txt file wont show up as an attachment, I really need to show it.

Its important to realize this is bad code on my part, I haven't done this in 16 years, and ive been learning for 2 months now.
so I'm sure its me not anything else.

Going by this you have a stray </div> end tag.

oops, that and I'm such a dope, I put the pic inside the wrong tags. fixing it !!!
