I worked for Eastman Kodak Company for many years. About three years ago, they said good bye to me. So I started enjoying my life by play golf, sipping some wines, and keeping myself in shape.
Last September my wife and I started our own business, L&M Website Design. We would like to assist small businesses in the Rochester New York area create or enhance their internet presences. We would also like to add a few dollars to our bank account.

Along the way, we came across CoffeeCup. First, I started using the free S-Drive service with the generic URL name. In January, we setup a customer to use CoffeeCup. When we got paid, we purchased a real Domain name, http://LMWebsiteDesign.com, and a paid CoffeeCup account.
I expect that I will be doing more and more with CoffeeCup.

Hello Larry and welcome! Have taken a look at your site, and would suggest doing a spell check on it. :P

Other than that welcome to the CC forums and please feel free to ask some questions!

Hi Guys,

My name is Ray, I'm new to the forum. I've been using Coffee Cup Shopping Cart Pro and the Designer for a while now.

The Coffee Cup software has been really good for me as I know "next to nothing" about anything website related.

With absolutely no knowledge and using the software I've been able to create something that at least resembles a website and have grown the online portion of the business into something fairly successful with it. Thank you Coffee Cup!

I just recently found Eric's website examples. Eric has some really cool things I would love to implement into my site, like the linked header and the rotating images on his VSD homepage.

I did follow his instructions but was unable to get either of the scripts to work.

Anyone have any suggestions on adding rotating images on the homepage (Is this even possible in Shopping Cart or only in VSD) or how to link the header image from other pages to the homepage as Eric did in his examples?

When I tried the linked header code my page went blank, and even though I messed with it a fair bit I could not get it to work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'd also be interested in hearing anyone's feedback or suggestions on improving my site and making it look more professional.

Hi Jo Ann,

I'm such a novice at this forum stuff that I didn't even realize I had posted twice. Sorry about that.

Where did the other posting go? I tried to search for it but can't seem to locate it.

Cheers,

Ray

When in doubt about where you posted last or where your posts are (hmm you should have gotten an email telling you your post was moved, did you not get this?) if you look at any thread you posted in your name is actually a link. If you click that you can see your profile as others see it and you can click the link under your name to see all your posts :)

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
