My search results show duplicate results for index pages. For example, these links are the same web page:
http://www.mywebsite.com/mydirectory/index.htm
and
http://www.mywebsite.com/mydirectory/
So any time an "index.htm" page shows up in the search results, it shows up twice (once with the full file name: http://www.mywebsite.com/mydirectory/index.htm and once with the directory: http://www.mywebsite.com/mydirectory/)
How can I eliminate these duplicates? (It's doing this for all of my directories in the sites.) Kelly Ward

This has been mentioned on these forums before. Did you try to search on the subject?
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!
Yes, I did - and didn't find anything. I'll keep searching.

Yes, I remember a thread on this subject.

I searched the whole "Website Search" forums and found nothing about this problem. So I opened a help desk ticket and CoffeeCup's response was that there's no way to fix this problem.
So - I guess I will need to manually remove each duplicate page from the list each time I create a new search. Kelly Ward

That's annoying....
Aren't you a little short for a Storm Trooper?
Please also note that this program has been discontinued.

Will a different search software be replacing it? (If not, can you recommend an alternative?)

We will definitely have something for our S-Drive customers, but I doubt we will have a stand-alone product. You may want to look into Google Site Search.

Curiosity sakes, why is it being discontinued? www.jdmwood4u.ca
