I downloaded the trial, but it isn't a trial as using it just takes a person to the flash search page. So I cannot try this all the way.... hence my questions.

It appears that a search is created and saved on my computer, and then I upload it to the server and then it's live - is this right?

So when a new page, article, mp3 etc. is added I have to do a new search-save and upload - yes?

My first try only indexed pages, no titles, no text on pages or in articles - explain please?

Will words in pdf articles be indexed?

Any thing else that can be added about the functional process of this search feature would be great - thanks!

Click on "build search". Then at the bottom click the files tab. There you can customize your search including and excluding anything on your website.

I dont know about pdf's but my text in my txt files gets indexed.

I have had this program for a long time but just got some of my websites to the point that a search could yield good results.
Works great!:) I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.
