I just wish I could figure out how to use it and wish I had not bought it til I knew how to use it. The video tutorial is rather poor in that I cannot catch every word that gal is saying.

I read the website font manual and here again, it is basically of no help. Most of what the manual states, is self explanatory.... here is size, change it to resize it.

I guess I am just stupid because for the life of me, I cannot get it to work.
And I have followed the directions. Nothing shows on the page. I tried uploading by ftp to the websitefontdata folder. I also tried uploading the contents of the websitefontdata folder. I tried editing my test.html file to the folder link... fnc/websitefontdata/...

I'm scratching my head and wondering if I am suppose to type in the text I want to appear after uploading all this?

What really throws me for a loop is, it says everyone can see it.
But then it says, you can't see it if you don't have javascript enabled and you don't have it set in your firewall...... Well how does everyone see it if they don't have all that set?

HI Valerie,
Valerie there are 2 ways of doing this and it depends on whether your using Visual Site Designer or Html Editor ( just adding it to a html page )
If your adding it into Visual SIte Designer Try this:
http://www.brucesextras.com/WebsiteFontInVSD.html

When Adding to and Html page you would just upload the websitefontdata folder where your html page is located, then add the xml file. For the code that goes into the page you would use <h1>text here</h1> or the font for which ever tag you saved it with. These cannot be previewed ( you'll just see your computers default font )and must be uploaded . Sorry no sound "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

This is why it did not work:

<h1>text here</h1>

I was using <p> tags.

Support had replied after viewing my test page.

I'm glad I got it to work cause I was really looking forward to using it.

Most seem to see it.
Those using googlechrome do not appear to see it.

This is my test page link :

http://www.agpcommunity.com/fnc/test.html

However, I thought it came with a lot of fonts.
Seems only a few.
And you have to pay $19 for each of those other
sets if you want those.
Plus, they were not included in the pink page.

PS. I've been a CoffeeCup customer for many years. I really like all the software and use the html editor and ftp the most. I appreciate the free upgrades and especially like that I can log in any time and download....over the years, I've had at least two puter crashes...lost everything.....no problem with CoffeeCup tho...I simply logged in and downloaded all the stuff again.

PSS. I'm a huge coffee drinker too  Valerie Underhill

Valerie,

You cna use any font already installed on your computer. Want more fonts? Check out http://www.dafont.com/ and download free fonts.

go to https://www.coffeecup.com/website-font/help/ and view the tutorial telling you how to convert those fonts to use with Website Font.

Be creative!

P.S. I LOVE your test page, but I had to get help reading it because I'm colorblind.

I am having trouble getting a WebSite Font to work with VSD. i made my site using VSD, then made the font using sIFR Font Maker and Website Font. Followed instructions as best i could, but to no avail.

i wonder if i did things in the wrong order??? do i have to type (copy/paste) all my text from the webpage into the Website Font program to make this work?

my site is: www.atcowoodproducts.com/WWW/TEMP2/index.html I just tried to add this Webite Font to the homepage... no other pages.

i tried the link to brucesextras.com, but the URL was block. there's a 3-letter word that it just doesn't care for ;)

thanks in advance for any help.

ok, i got it to work... somewhat. now i realize that i have to format the text from within Website Font. I assumed I could just basically embed the font into the webpages and everything else would stay the same. is that possible?

HI Ron,
I forgot all about that tutorial being there sorry, the link works now..
but for every page you want the website font, you'll need to also copy the code into the head section as well. As long as you use the ( h1, h2, h3 etc;) in your page , everything not having those tags will remain the same. "It's A Smart Person That Asks"
