I have opened the HTML tool, put the body code in the main pane and the 'head' code in the header tab.

In the same box (main body) as the body code I put <h1>test</h1> at the top.

I saved it and opened the page. NOTHING happens!

Please help!

Thanks much in advance!

I don't want to upload them. I just want to be able to test out the font BEFORE uploading to the server. I believe the types of files created by website font should work on your local hard drive.

I need to be able to see them locally because I create graphics using VSD and then I capture the entire graphic with a program like Snag-it to create the final graphic.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

OK I get ya! use the add files to add the files used for the font and don't upload! just save and preview should take care of this.
without seeing any type of example are you using the current version if it makes a difference?

I'm sorry that doesn't help. The Add Files seems to just be a way of uploading your files to your website.

Can't these files that Website Font creates simply be put in your project folder with your html page and then simply open your html page from that folder and view it?

I tried and it don't work. All the files that were created are in the same directory as the html file. I go directly to that folder and manually open the file (NOT using 'preview' in VSD) and what I get is just plain text. I don't get it.

Does it have to run on a server to work!??

Due to security restrictions by Microsoft, Active Content will be blocked locally. What you could try is saving your Website and then load it in FireFox locally. That could help. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Scott, I don't use IE. I already use Firefox.

I wish someone could video themselves doing it (like with snagit or something) to show me how they get that to work.
