Is there a way to keep Flash Website Font from clipping text? Currently it only shows the first line of any text (although I can see the tops of the other letters on the next line peeking through). It's almost like the text is in a div layer that clips or is set to overflow hidden or something like that.
I am doing a website for a daycare center and the client really wants to use a hand-written font that mimics a child's writing for pull quotes.
This software will not allow me to do this and I spent 2 days trying to find a work-around short of putting each and every line in its own div tag.
I realize (only AFTER I paid for the software) that this is done this way to avoid slowing down the site, but in specialized cases (ie pull quotes) it should not matter. As long as the ENTIRE site is not done in that font.
I only purchased this software because it advertised that one could use any font within a website. They should really specify CLEARLY that this for HEADLINES only. Because now I feel like I spent money for something that's not going to work as I need it to work.
Please, please, please can someone provide a solution? I am familiar with CSS and am willing to do whatever "hack" it takes to get this working.
Thanks!

Hi Scott and Marquina,
I have to assume it's a made font because when I first installed WSFont I had the same problem with it cutting off using the fonts that came in the program.I unstalled and restart my comp, re-installed and that fixed that problem. But when I converted a font, saved it go you use it let's size 40 in the image isn't cut off but smaller sizes do.

question is with the installed fonts in the program you can resize to anything and it doesn't cut off, are we doing something wrong in our converting possibly?
Thanks "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

We uploaded a new version of sIFR Maker yesterday. Can you try converting a font using the new converter and see if there is any change?

Shall Do!
ok I dl'd the updated version of the font maker and Scott I have to say It's gotta be me.. usually is.lol
So I kept getting an error using it, but that's not the problem as I can use Macromedia. Will that make a difference in results?
(must be installed in C drive)

Can you email me the source font please to scott@coffeecup.com I want to give it a try here.
A preview of the font will not appear to the right of the font for custom made ones. It will only appear for the ones included with the software or purchased through our store. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Thanks Bruce for sending me the fonts. I just converted all 4 of them here and I am not seeing that issue.

All fonts were converted with the latest build of our sIFR Maker. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

Sorry, for some reason I did not receive an email to let me know that someone had posted an answer to my question. So, I apologize for not responding earlier.
This is actually not the issue I was having, but thanks for clearing that one up because I'm sure it would have been the next question.
OK, MY issue is that CCWF does not allow one to type a paragraph of text. It only allows the user to type a single headline or title. The user cannot type 2 lines of text or more. It only allows the user to type one line of text.
e.g.I have defined <H2> to use a child's handwriting font and I have a paragraph of text comprised of 4 short sentences that I want to use as a pull-quote. I need everything within the <H2></H2>
to show up. Currently, only the 1st line will show up. The other 3 sentences disappear and are not visible. Nothing is visible past the 1st line.
After later reading the documentation and searching the forums, I learned that really CCWF is only meant to be used for headlines or titles. Well, I made my purchase based on the premise that CCWF "can style Website headings, pull-quotes, and other elements in any font by enabling the designer to embed the font of their choice in a Flash element that displays the text." which is taken directly from the CCWF product page.
The page does not mention anywhere that it will not convert more than one line of text or that it is meant only for headlines within the page. The only way I can get it to work is by putting each line within its own <H2>
(or other) tag. This is not only time consuming and repetitious, but it is also a bit daunting when you have many lines and many pages within a site to convert.
Did that explain a bit better?
Any assistance is appreciated.

I have downloaded the new version, so far it looks promising, although, I've not yet output to a site nor have I created my own font, yet. I will post the outcomes of both.
