How do I get an image shown on the Tabs in internet explore, like Coffeecup has there logo image on the tab.

HI Kim, are you talking about in the place where you type the url?
It's called a favicon. you can make one here and it's free.

Here's a few links to some online favicon generators that I've used in the past. Been a while since I've made one, but it is really really simple and works pretty slick (and does better than I was trying to do in my own graphic editor LOL.
