I am a newbie to VSD but it looks like a great tool. After creating my first page and clicking preview it seems that there is way more space available on the preview than the actual VSD window.

How do I adjust what I am working on to show the actual workspace so I know exactly where to layout everything.

the actual "space available" is just a matter of decision... people set their monitors to many different resolutions, and you just have to choose which setting your page will view best on. Many people cater to the common browser window size of 800x600 pixels, and that (or about that) is the default size of the visual editor in Coffeecup's HTML editor(not sure about VSD). That size is also quite a bit smaller than the preview screen in the HTML editor

It's up to you what size page you want to make. My webpages are usually fairly close to, if not exactly suited to, 800x600 pixel screen space. If you make it much larger, people with smaller screens, or screens set to lower resolution, will have to scroll back and forth to view the whole thing, which can be very frustrating.

On the technical "how to change workspace size" someone else will have to answer, as I do not use VSD, only the HTML editor...

When you first start VSD, you are given the option of starting a new page, with the page size adjustments visible. Later, you can change the size by clicking on the page icon at the top of the VSD window.

In VSD if you click on "Page" on the top bar you can change the size of your pages individually or all as BillR has stated above.

Help! All my pages are set to 1000w x 650h. They all view fine and upload well EXCEPT my very first page in VSD. I have cheked and rechecked the size on the page button. It is much longer than my other pages what is going on...how do i fix?
