Hi,

I am a novice who wants to build a website that visitors can amend or add content to on line. Could anyone recommend a way of achieving this please?

What type of website do you want to create that allows users to amend your pages.

Do you just want to allow people to add text messages or what?

If you allow people to amend anything on your pages, you will soon have a totally messed up website.

Thanks Mike,

The idea is to have a portal for professionals to add both collaberative information and professional lore relating to their profession. In this case the British Building Surveying profession. Additionally it should carry up to date news relating to said profession and job vacancies etc. I'm confused about what to use to implement the site i.e. Plone, Twiki or Moin Moin etc.

I would use twiki and set it up as a type of blog site.
