Hiya,
I'm wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to include default text or subject in an email link?
Here's my example of what I need it for. I'd like to include a link in my Product Details for my SCC shop. In this area I'd like to ask the customer if they would like to be notified when an item is back in stock again. (this assumes a customer has found an item they'd like that is out of stock at the moment).
I'd like to put a link after a sentence asking them this, so that when they press this link it will open their email client or some way for them to send an email to me that will include a specific Product Item Number with the request so I know which item they want to be notified about.
Any Ideas? I thought about a form setup, but that would mean a setup needing to be made for all products which could be hectic unless someone knows a way to input specific email Form Code that I can just change an Item number in that is.
Thanks in advance for any assistance
Jo Ann

Hi Wolverana ,
I believe you could use something like this:
mailto:me@thecircus.com?subject=(your subject here)
although I don't know where you would place it if your using shopping cart..
"It's A Smart Person That Asks"
Use something like <a href="mailto:me@me.com?subject=I think Scott is the best person in the world">

hahahaha oohhhh is that how that goes? LOL
Thanks Bruzer and Scott, I'll see how that goes, am thinking maybe a form setup also might be good, and started thinking about this even farther and realizing I can just put a blank box for the Item Number and just tell them to enter it in the box

I'll check out both ways and see which works better, thanks guys
