I am having issues getting just a single page with access restrictions. When I do everything as designed (have tried lots of times) I keep getting this server error. This is a GODADDY site.

Any help is appreciated. If I remove it, everything works fine with no access restrictions (I am building the site with VSD. Any help is appreciated, and I am sorry as I know it has been asked before, but all the posts show it should work.

Have you tried asking Godaddy about this error?

Is your site hosted on Windows or Linux? I tried this and it didn't work on Windows, but worked perfectly (almost! - Back browsing for assistance now...) on Linux!

i have godaddy and had the same problem restricting access to a single page. The page was part of a multi-web site hosting account (not sure this matters or not)..Look in the help pdf pages 26-28 that specficially speaks to godaddy severs. This fix solved my problem.

Once i did the above, everything worked.

Hi. Where does one manually enter the subdomain folder?

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
