I have this weird problem that I can't figure out. I used Website Access manager to protect my blog here:
http://www.blogs.weightfamily.org/
OK, so far, so good - it does work (but it was not easy).
The problem is that when I browse to another blog site which has no relationship, no known connection and not even hosted on the same server, I get the login box. I can just click on Cancel and I can view the blog site, but every time I go to this site I get this problem.
This is very annoying and I have no idea whatsoever why or even how it happens. I've attached a picture that shows what's happening.
Can anybody tell me why this is happening and/or how to fix it?
Thanks,
Ron

Can We see a link to the other site. I can't read it off your image post.
I can't hear what I'm looking at when it's so easy to overlook something I'm not looking for.

Looking at the URL in your address bar is says weightwanderings.blogspot.com but on that login box, it has the URL www.blogs.weightfamily.org Those are two different URL's It looks like whatever you protected on the www.blogs.weightfamily.org is requiring authentication.

Scott,
Yes, that is the point. I have protected www.blogs.weightfamily.org and it works properly when I go there.
The issue is that the login (authentication screen) is coming up even when I go to https://weightwanderings.blogspot.com. Why would it ask me to authenticate to www.blogs.weightfamily.org when I'm visiting a totally different website?
I have tried closing all browsers then opening up a new one. In that new browser, with no other website or browser open, I navigate to https://weightwanderings.blogspot.com and my authentication screen for www.blogs.weightfamily.org shows up even though I have not attempted to go there.
Note: The site at https://weightwanderings.blogspot.com is also protected and requires a login, but it's protected by Google, not by website access manager.

I cannot see how Access Manager could have any impact on what you are describing. I think it is all a server issue. When I try to go to your website, I get this error in Chrome:

You may want to look into that and see what is going on. Also, make sure that on each site you are not referencing images from each other. That can cause a double authentication. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~
