I just purchased the super pack for the april special and was expecting the webcom software to be included. I can not find a link on CoffeeCup's site to download it any more. It was there a couple of weeks ago when I was looking to put a package together for a projects I am starting.

CoffeeCup WebCam was discontinued in March. Existing users will still be supported but we are no longer offering the software for new users. ~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~_~

oh, man. Why was it discontinued? The philosopher has not done philosophy until he has acted upon the mere conviction of his idea; for proof of the theory is in the act, not the idea.

It was just a program that has always been outside of our core application genera. We just want to stick more in the Web development arena.

I am disappointed as I planned on using it on a project. Especially since I saw it available in April and there was no announcement that the product was going EOL. Hence I made the purchase assuming it was part of the pack. I'm not saying that webcam is the only product I plan on using but it would have been better if you announced that the product is deprecated vs. just having it vanish.

Ok, so not to argue with your business decisions, how about considering making it freeware without support since there will not be a retail version going forward.

Even our freeware applications get full support. It just would not be good business to have a product out there but not in someway help users with it if they needed us.

Sorry to find out about this. I just finished some research on webcam software and had decided to purchase yours. :(

Hope you'll reconsider.

Hi, I have been trying off and on to use the webcam and always found it problematic and dependent on what the PC hardware was. I did plan to try a new version if there ever was one. Now I know. I can see why it never was well supported or upgraded. I am not upset, I can still get the rest of the software if I need it.
