I just bought the WebCam 4.0 yesterday and wanted some advice on which camera I should buy for indoor use to use the motion sensing mode. I want the system to notify me only if motion is detected in front of the camera, and I don't know whether I need a camera that will accomplish the motion feature or do I need to buy a separate motion detector to supply power to the camera the moment motion is detected. Since users of CC Software offer such great help, I hope someone could give me some advice on this decision before I travel 80 miles to buy the camera or perhaps order it. I would prefer a system where only the motion sensor is drawing current until motion is detected, at which time power would be supplied to the camera to take the photo, then email me a notice and photo, so the hours of use on the camera will remain very low with hopefully long life!
