Text disappears, and what skins have playlists?

Hello - I created a player with Web Jukebox, but for some reason, the text that was on the page disappears when I upload the Jukebox player. What would cause that? So I inserted html to play the mp3 files without using Jukebox, and the text reappeared. Then I added a video using CC Web Video Player and the same thing happened! (my test boxes disappeared...).

I also would like a playlist to display. Does anyone know which skins...if any...will display a choice of songs, and let the viewer choose which song they want to hear?

Thanks for any help.

A link would be good idea so folks can look at the code on the offending page. CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Hi Richard,
I see no code what so ever showing any sign of web video player or web jukebox. You can add the jukebox by using the Flash Tool and all the files will be automatically added and upload when you upload VSD, The same goes for the Web Video Player.
Or are you trying to add the programs o the html pages themselves outside of Visual Site Designer.

And the skins that will have a playlist for jukebox are as follows:
cool black 2 (medium)
boom box
cool black
cool black 2 ( large)
darth skin
powdered milk
radio tuner ( red)
radio tuner (silver)
silver box
silver box 2

Bruzer - Thanks for the list of skins. Sorry about the missing code...I was asked to remove the media until it worked properly. Here's the strange thing...I created a new audio player using the "Cool Black 2 Medium" skin, uploaded it, and the text didn't fisappear! Then I uploaded the video as before, and the text still didn't disappear. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but the "disappearing text" problem must have somehow been caused by using the "Sky Blue" skin...???

I have another question though. When I create a Jukebox file, I copy and paste the HTML and upload the files as part of the process of "saving" the file. I know there is an "add flash" feature, but it seems it is not necessary. The process of saving a file leads you to copy & paste the HTML and upload the files, which is all that is necessary. Even if I try to use the "add flash" feature, the XML file that I just created does not appear in the website's folder. Are the two methods just alternative ways to do the same thing? Or is there a reason I am unable to use the "add flash" method? Thanks...

Hi Richard,
Using the "add flash" option is a more accurate way of adding any coffeecup flash program because of the fact the being a new user some users are not experienced enough yet to know which files are needed to be uploaded, also some have not even set up the built-in ftp in that certain program this is the most logical way of doing it. IMO.
If you have a small video or a jukebox project with maybe one or two songs on it, then I would suggest ( this is only my opinion) using the flash tool in VSD, because it doesn't take uploading long in VSD.
So when I make a project I close close that app and do as mentioned. If I have a video player with about 3 or more videos in it then I would do as you mentioned, just copy and paste the code into VSD- save it-then upload VSD and then use another ftp client to upload the appropriate files.
To me it's just a matter of upload time, and less chance of VSD to timeout with an error.

You mentioned the xml file not being in the website folder, well as a matter of fact , if you do use the flash tool, make your little box like you would using the html tool then click save, then yes the xml file along with the rest of them will be in your website folder. Just adding the html code to the page will NOT add the xml file (yeah I know you knew that).... "It's A Smart Person That Asks"
