I have a JukeBox 4.5 player on my website. I recently tried listening to them using iPad. I tried from two different iPads at two different locations. The webpages containg the JukeBox loaded but the palyer itself did not play, in fact, the player did not even show. All there was was an empty spot where it should have appeared. My website is www.alka-yagnik-fan.com/alka_yagnik_music.html
Does JukeBox work with the iPad?
Does JukeBox work with the iPad?
That is because the iPhone and iPad do not support Flash.

Hi Scott, I have a similar problem with two sites I did for a client, but one seems to have only php in it, no flash.
First site is www.marealestate.ch (created with my CoffeeCup Visual Site Designer): in the page http://www.marealestate.ch/MGTRestrictedLoginPage.html there should be a blue login window... it appears and works fine on macs and PCs while it just does not show up on ipad and iphone....
Second site is www.yoram.ch (created with website X5) : on the main menu, the page links ROI, Cash and Loans are inactive
while the others (e.g. Projects Brain and Contacts are). This is on ipad and iphone, while it works fine on macs and PCs.
... and my client had the (bad?) idea of buying an ipad recently and so he is now screaming coz my sites don't work.
Please help. What can I do? Please look up source code..... Any ways to go around this?
btw: history of ur relations with Adobe does not help, please avoid leaving me with just that answer...
Thanks,
Claudio

Well the first site link for the login page definitely has flash on it. I use Firefox browser with the NoScript addon that blocks all scripts till I tell it otherwise, and when I load that page
http://www.marealestate.ch/MGTRestrictedLoginPage.html
I get a big flash button right in the middle of the page which is where your login is when I allow it so your client is definitely never going to see that, and that's your client's problem not your website's issue since ipads and the like don't allow it "yet".
He's also never going to see that little video in the corner of the 2nd site either because it's using a flash player.
There's not a whole lot of ways around this issue since Flash is not used with the iPad, so the only thing you can do is find an alternative way to make your applications that don't use Flash. Good luck on that, it's not an easy task by any means.
Although I understand the situation, you'll have to make a decision to use other code sources, or tell your client to get a real PC lol. If he insists, then tell him that building a site specifically for the iPad will cost extra since it takes a lot more difficult code to do so without flash. Just my opinion of course.
Don't know what to tell you on the menu though sorry, but good luck on it all the way around.
