Hey guy's, I am currently using VSD on one of my websites, and I was looking to make my bg bigger by doubling the height of the actual page. I've located the .bg file I was looking for and it's not letting me copy/paste another piece below the original .bg file. Can someone help me out? I am using Web Image Studio, upgraded. Thanks - Matt :D www.torchmod.com

Hiya U & C,

I'm not 100% sure how VSD renders things, but I don't know of any background image situations where the background is more than one image. Might be possible mind you with some major CSS positioning, but I would think you would need to make that background large enough to fit the entire window area you want, or make it a repeatable background (hopefully it would repeat well as some don't line up real well if they are actual photo like images). Okay thank you Jo Ann, i'll try repeatable backround. I'm just curious because I can't click and drag the actual backround bigger than what it is, I can use page and create a 1600x1250 or whatever but I can't change the size of the image that's sitting on top of the backround that has one size. So we'll see. Thanks again! - Matt :D www.torchmod.com

Matt, if you go to Page Properties, towards the bottom there's a choice for your page background fill – solid color, gradient or image. If you choose an image that's smaller than your page, it will repeat to fill it. For an example; if your page is 1000px high and your image is 500px high, it will repeat twice. If it's not a "seamless" image, you'll see where the images join together. If your image is a seamless pattern, you can use just a little square of it (very small file size) and it will repeat as needed to fill whatever size your page is. (Make sure the Position box is un-checked.)
Images placed as a background property are not "on" the page, so they can't be re-sized like inserted images.
