I bought this graphics bundle to make it easy for me. Instead I cant preview the images and there is no support what so ever for any program other than yours?
Hiya Rasmus,
The image files you purchase here only work with the Web Image Studio program.
I just posted the file information here for someone else that asked about how to open them:
http://www.coffeecup.com/forums/website … wisp-file/
Good luck on it and I would highly recommend the Web Image Studio program, well worth the small price.
Take it for a trial run first to be sure you want it, but once you see it I can't imagine going back to those bloated programs like Photo Shop for working with vector type images. Let us know if you need any other assistance on it

I was and still is, a fan user of Coffee Cup software. The issue above is just a mental stress, trying to solve a problem with just a click of a button if you have the right stuff. You can not open a can of soda if you are not going to use your fingers, except if you want to use your teeth, but still you need your hands with your fingers. Rule of thumb! you can not surf online if you do not have a computer.
Was there a point to your post Gloria? It doesn't have anything to do with this thread.

You can't get an answer on a forum if you don't ask a question.
It's so easy to overlook something your not looking for.

I think Gloria was responding to this post :: (ie) bought graphics without having purchased the program they work on (tools to do the job) (fingers) Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, sales close to £100,000 from my SCCP & SCDP shop to date, Enjoying semi-retirement
Hosted FREE on CC S DRIVE www.chauffeurdrivenluxurycars.co.uk
My new VSD & SCCP site Oct 2011 www.deloreanjewellery.co.uk
A few hours from a CC template www.triking.herobo.com hosted free 000webhost
Sell something with VSD privately easily www.toptenwebsite.co.uk SOLD
I bought the graphics pack as well thinking that I could open the files with Photoshop or Fireworks, only to discover I couldn't. Although I feel a bit miffed that I have to now buy an additional program just to open them, I suppose I should have realised given that it talks about a proprietory file format.
I think you should state plainly on the graphics part of the site that Web Image Studio is required to open the files, or at least give a warning when you try to buy them without having bought the required software previously.
In the first paragraph it says "Open them in Web Image Studio and you’ll be able to match them to your website’s theme in just a few clicks." This implies that you can edit them easily with this software, it doesn't imply a requirement to open them.
Likewise, in the second paragraph it doesn't actually say that Web Image Studio is required to open the file. It says "it’s brilliant in Web Image Studio", which implies the format works well in that program, not that it can only be opened by Web Image Studio. PNG files work well in Adobe Fireworks but they can still be opened with other programs.
EDIT: I've since found the free version of Web Image Studio which appears to be able to export the graphics as something usable, but I still think you should provide some kind of warning before downloading the graphics.

Hey Niall,
I'm with you. I just bought the "Ultimate Graphics Pack" from this promotional email:
The Ultimate Graphics Pack (less than 5 cents each—just wow!)
The coolest graphics on Earth—don’t miss out on this one.
"Seriously, out of all specials you don’t want to miss out on this one!
And if you do, you’re destined to regret this for a long long time…
This ultimate graphics pack is top notch, containing professionally designed icons, very cool menu buttons and backgrounds, crafty page tiles and much, much more.
Over 1450 of the finest graphics on Earth for under 5 cents each is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Miss it and you’ll be paying for it later—seriously."
No mention of having to use Web Image Studio in my email!!!!
Now I have 1450 unusable graphics and I'm out of pocket $69.00. When I asked for help I was told:
"Now if you do not want to use Web Image Studio here, just rename the .WISP file to .ZIP and you can manually extract all of the .WIF files from there. After that, rename each .WIF and you will find the source .PNG file in there."
A monumental task, even if I was able to figure out what they mean. I renamed all the WISP files to ZIP, extracted the files but haven't got a clue how or what to "rename each .WIF", and even if I did, I don't have 100 hours to spend trying to get what I paid for.
Not a happy camper.

Really? Are you really trying to tell me that you totally missed the entire paragraph to the right of the graphics pack on the website page that has a clear title:
About the Graphics
This tells you everything you need to know about those graphics packs and shows that they are in WIF format. Come on guys, read the dang information before you purchase such large items. I would never in a million years make a purchase of that size without knowing about the product before I spent my money. If you didn't do so then it's your own fault for not doing your own research. The graphics on CoffeeCup have been in WIF format for over a year now, it's not a new thing, nor is anyone trying to rip you off AND they even gave you the information needed in order to extract the actual images should you choose to do so. I'm not accusing anyone of trying to rip me off, I'm just saying that it might have been nice to have been told that some additional software was required (which, as I pointed out before, was not actually stated anywhere on the page).
That piece of information that Jill just gave about being able to rename the files as ZIPs and PNGs was also not stated anywhere. This is the first I've heard about renaming the files as PNGs.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
