I've tried to look at previous posts and I can't seem to find the answer or make it work. Caution: I am a newbie! Anyway, this is a form I am using:

http://maxceleration.coffeecup.com/form … ample.html

I am trying to pre-populate the stock number field using the url like this:

http://maxceleration.coffeecup.com/form … ber=123456

but it doesn't seem to work. The form was created with WFB and as you can see is hosted on my Sdrive. Please explain how I can make this work. Thank you very much for any help that can be provided.

No I didn't, thanks for your help! I made some changes to the example script to suit my form and variables and inserted it into an HTML element at the top of the form and it seems to work fine. Thank you very much for your help!

Isn't there a more simple way to auto select or populate form options with a link?
For example, you can create a mailto link with subject, etc already in the email.

Can't we have our forms automatically select an option with code in a link?

I found this sample online where it automatically selects cake as an option:
http://jotformpro.com/form/307625756239 … Snack=Cake

Here's another sample with Name and and website auto populated:
http://mailchimp.us1.list-manage.com/su … YPE=mobile

I'm trying to do this with my forms and so far I've had no luck. I'm guessing I'm just typing writing the link wrong.

Thanks.
