Passwords and Form Length - Post ID...

I noticed that if someone fills a form with a password the password is starred out but the confirmation page back to the form filling person has it in plain view. Sort of defeats hiding the password when filling out the form. Have I missed something in the settings.
On this site the forms are quite long e.g. http://altra.co.nz/adsl_signup.html
It would be nice if the page could jump back to the top of the confirmation page after the form has been processed. At the moment users have to scroll back up to the top to see any content.

Thanks for any help to sort.

Cheers

I would agree with the form length and being sent back to the top after submit.:)
David is that your real picture your using for your avatar? If it is I bet others have told you you look like Adam Sandler.;)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

A Kiwi Adam Sandler I shudder to think about it. May be he would make a good front rower for the All Blacks
Aussie Aussie Aussie Yah Yah Yah. Sorry Dave Apologise for that.

To others around the world the Kiwi's tend to dust our pants on two many occasions.

Imagine Gridiron without protection and no stop start, last man standing wins. There isn't a quarter back to sack they sack each other, coach and all if he gets in the way. There are always spares though on the benches to replace those they stretcher off.

Hi Prism, Kia Ora Bro....

Yes its a little unusual to see grown men with all that protective gear on ;)
I would be good to see a clash of the codes and see who came out on top.

Anybody got any answer for the original questions.

Cheers Dave.

Hiya Dave,

I don't have any info on the jumping back to the top thing but here's a post that Scott answers the question about the password field:

Ok read that quickly. Its more that the password field is ***** out when the submitter fills the form but if they are at the same computer the confirmation page coming back shows the password in plain text.
So if anyone should be looking over their shoulder they just got a look at the password in plain text.
I would have thought that confirmation page would star out the password but not for the owner of the form in their email that they receive of course as they need it.

Cheers
