Feature Requests and Suggestions

As if trying to redo a 400 page website that was built and maintained with FrontPage using Web Editor with only a small understanding of HTML/CSS isn't punishment enough, but now I see that Web Editor doesn't support basic Emacs commands!? :) Any chance of sneaking those in? Apple/OSX does a great job of supporting them in just about everything. I even used them typing this request! Thanks!

I use strong more than bold. When I will mark a word and chose strong. I have to write <strong>, and <strong></strong> pops up. I then have to move my word or words in between. It would be nice to mark a word or words and choose strong from a formatting menu on top, so that my choice is automatically marked as strong. The Tags, Snippets dialog box does not work that way either.

I may be a little grumpy in the morning, that is, before my first cup of coffee ;)

I couldn't agree more, Wilford. We'll just have to keep our fingers crossed.

Man I'm hopping the web editor can get back in the game. Unfortunately it has fallen behind as far as featured for modern wed design.

Some New features I like to see are:

Support for Code Highlighting for SASS, HAML and Less.
Responsive features in the preview window for different screen sixes.
Ruby Support

I know they have recently released many responsive apps. I have them all but I still enjoy hand coding my sites and web editor can handle a modern site job. I was really excited when it first came out.

It would be nice to see LiveCode as an extra language. It is very powerful and easy to use.

Does anybody know if Web Editor is still being developed? I'd like to see a Yosemite/El Capitan design and some new functionality before I pay for it AGAIN.

Web Editor still works great! I am using it on El Capitan right now.

New update from Nov 14th 2017 works great in Sierra and the feature for clicking on a tag and having it highlighted in the preview pane works again! It would be nice if this feature worked both ways, where you click on a section of text in the preview pane and it then focuses on this section in the code. Much like what inspect element does in Safari. This would be great for quickly finding sections you need to edit in the html without having to comb through lines and lines of code.
