Hi..When I save a movie in CoffeeCup Video Recorder it saves (Exports) in the .flv format. How do I save in .wmv or some other one. It would be nice to use windows media player to watch the movies..Do I need another program to convert this? Thanks..Keithmj

I think the web is moving to using .flv since you get a good view and a smaller file.
I have read other messages that mention video converter software, but I have had mine a long time, and I don't remember what it cost.
Try using Google to find a "flv to wmv converter" and you should find something. Bill R.

As Bill was saying, Video Recorder is geared towards put video on web pages, so FLV is the way to go. However, there are freebies available like Quick Media Converter that do the job.
My Windows Media Player 11 in Vista Home Premium seems to play FLV files fine. I know it's not a common filename extension for WMP, but if it prompts, you can say to try to play anyway. I just can't remember if I may have installed anything (codecs) that may have aided in playing unless it always worked from the start. http://www.flashstrap.com
