It should work with some tweaking, much like how we got JukeBox running in this thread:

I'll try myself later when I get a chance if you have no luck. http://www.flashstrap.com

Hopefully this link works to show what I'm dealing with.

I copied and pasted the jukebox example and it worked fine-so this is what I need for the player. Something to copy and paste in the post and then insert my particular file.

I have tried everything it seems this software is not compatible with wordpress which is a widely used cms. Can anyone figure out something to make this work.

I have a feeling you might've overlooked this part in the JukeBox thread:
Adam Richesin wrote:
The bigger pain is in order for mine to load, I had to manually edit the JukeBox's xml file and change all paths to full URLs, like from:
"myjukebox_files/song.mp3" to "http://www.domain.com/myjukebox_files/song.mp3"
This applies to all skin .jpgs & the mp3s.

In the Video Player's case, you'd have to enter full paths to all the FLV files instead of MP3s. That being the case, it wouldn't be something we could simply give you to copy & paste. It'd take a little manual editing in Notepad of the XML file. http://www.flashstrap.com

Doesn't anyone bother to check these threads?

Well some of us do...

But as with MANY forums on the web, the OP frequently abandons the thread, leaving others to wonder whether the assistance led to success or not. Which makes it more difficult to help others which may have the same issues.

Ha, well, I'm still subscribed to this thread, so almost 2 years later, I would check on it. :p My suggestion would still apply to those searching for Wordpress help, but I suppose I should archive this thread being so old. http://www.flashstrap.com

I just did a quick test and also had to add a / to the code for the swf file the program produces to point to the root directory. I got the video to play but the skin didn't show so I guess Adam is correct to edit the xml file for every instance of the skin images. I'll play around with it when I have more time. CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
