Hey just the ability to specify pixel dimensions. I built my site using Coffee Cup programs for EVERYTHING except video, because the web player only wanted to let me choose two sizes and I needed more control than that. So I had to spend more money on the Jeroen Wijering video player from Longtail Video http://www.longtailvideo.com/.

It's a great player, but not nearly as user friendly as the Coffee Cup program would have been, took me a while to figure it all out.

I'm sure it's challenging to keep your software "simple" when people keep asking for more and more features :-) Chad Spillars

Scott,

Nice program. I think the simplicity of operation is a large part of "Web Video Player's" allure.

I (and I imagine a lot of others) often have a need to cut off part of the beginning and / or end of many of the videos we place online. Could you provide a simple editor to do just that? It would be nice if it were incorporated into the Web Video Player but, even as a stand alone program it would be great.

Thanks,

David Trammell

An additional idea is creating the ability to fade from black to the scene and then at the end of the scene to fade back to black.

Thanks for listening.

Having the ability to specify pixel dimensions would set this program apart from many and it would stop me from using Vimeo and Youtube. I use those services because they allow me to specify my pixel dimensions for each video I place on a site.

Here are my fav's that I would like to see.

1. pixel dimensions settings using a HD Player

2. Some form of Text over-lay

3. More players for choice. No dis-respect but the players currently there are
cheesy and they look amaturish - Please, Please give us more choices. It
would be nice if CC would place some plain, low key players in the
software allowing 16.9 along with 4.3 settings. The current selections are
over the top, flamboyent, popish bright and don't fit into a professionally
laid out website.

4. Video is moving into the HD realm and so if I shoot a video using an HD
camera I don't want my video hacked up and grainy, just to get it played in
the CC Player. The current players are becoming obsolete. Everyone is
shooting HD. Broadband is more common so CC should address this.

My last point: Everyone is shooting HD. If CC doesn't address this they will find themselves being used by upstart designers who can only do small church projects (LOL LOL LOL). CC has to find a way to bring long-time users along and give them something more advance that is growing with the latest technology.

Although I started out using CC software for my Video presentations, I've long since stop using it, because I'm shooting more advance projects using HD video etc. I realize that this software will never be the equivelent of Final Cut Pro, or Adobe Premiere, but it can certainly makes some improvements that allow long time users to grow a little using HD video etc...

All the best

Gregory

Suggestion - Well Scott, try to do one that is working should be enough for now. When all the bugs and errors are gone, U could ask again.

I was about to add this to my list of CoffeCup software, but it lacks one thing I am really surprised it doesn't have...

A Full Screen option. I don't think there is another video player out there that does not allow the viewer to click a button / option to be able to view the video at full screen.

I simply can't purchase this particular software without that option. I would in a heartbeat if it had this.

Thanks and can't wait for this one to be available!!!

Weel, I would like to use CC WVP but I need it in 19:9 format and the options are only 4:3 format :(
It will be fantastic if WVP has the ability to specify pixel dimensions and some options of modern and professional aspect skins.

Shouldn't the video player at least create a thumbnail photo so you're not looking at a blank screen wondering what it is? YouTube videos and others generate a thumbnail shot when the player is stopped or paused. VSD Latest update
