that I want to take a snippet off and loop so it's not such a big file to load for visitors to the website each time.
It may not be the right forum, but can someone tell me how to take a snippet of a song?
Thanks.

I have to ask: Is is a video (since this is posted under Web Video Player) or an audio file. If it is an audio file, I like to use Audacity (free). For video, I use Macs, but I think Windows Movie Maker will let you edit a video clip. But it depends on the file format. Quicktime Pro ($30) might work as well. "Time heals everything. I can thoroughly recommend Audacity as Lowell suggested. Its free, and very good and will do exactly what you want to do with your music snippet. When everything is running sweet, that's the time to worry!
