I cannot open either program. I get Program not responding when I attempt to open. I've redownloaded and that did not fix it. I last used the player program a year ago, so I have no clue as to what is causing the conflict.

No, that's not it. It just about opens, but i get the Vista "spinner" as if it not quite finished. I get the entire workpage and the quick tips window. As soon as I touch a button, I get the "CCvideoplayer.exe is not responding".

I tried your run as administrator suggestion and the same thing happens. Then I tried to uninstall the programs and I get an error message:
"Could not open INSTALL.LOG file"
Something is corrupted. Now I need to figure out how I can uninstall them and reinstall.
