I'm using a minimulistic player on my website. The intial state is a white screen with controls below. Can I replace the white screen with a jpg image?

If you use a graphics editor you should be able to add an image to the body.jpg of the player skin your using, but if your talking about adding an image to your movie you would then need to use a movie editor to do so.
