With all their skills and design knowledge you would think the
Coffeecup team could come up with a full screen option for their
video software. I guess I will just keep embedding other players
until that major breakthrough occurs. Maybe a bit more sugar
is needed for their morning coffee.

They're working on allowing you to set the dimensions for your video, rather than just choosing "small or large." I also hafta embed with other player because I need more flexibility that what CC offers, but I'm looking greatly forward to the next version of this software. Chad Spillars

I have been doing a really crude 'hack'...I edit the html and xml files to double the sizes, gambling that the video quality is good enough to double.

It is pretty crude...I have to figure out where everything lies...for now I ignored the buttons.

Maybe someone with better spacial perception and patience than myself could look at the layout of the current 'large' player, and map where things belong resized for a 'post-processed' resize...& share that info...

...and resize the graphic components (buttons, frames, etc) x2.

Like I said, it's pretty crude...

Murray,
I don't have any Lrg vids but if you know the size and what skin your using, or if it's the no skin option, let me know and I'll see what I can do to help.:) "It's A Smart Person That Asks"

Where's the full screen mode guys! Are you sure that it's just coffee in your cup. Maybe a little cannabis in there too huh, huh....

Please sort it out as soon as you can!

How's the option-for-larger-players update coming along? Any news of late? I'm sure looking forward to making Web Player worth while after my purchase. It works great for what it is don't get me wrong, but I'm anxious for an option to set larger displays than what's currently available--I don't want to resort to YouTube if I can avoid it. This maybe a put-on-the-shelf product till an update steps it up a bit. The whole premise of CC is to not have to mess with code, which is what sold me, thus I really don't want to get binary guts on my hands if I don't have to. I'm truly glad I went with CC though; love it.

Using VSD on WinXP, IE8.

Enjoying my CC,

Matthew

ANOTHER TRICK FROM ADAM
I'm sure you're already beyond me in tweaking skills, but I can give anything a shot. Did you see that tweaking trick I mentioned earlier? "..you hold the Ctrl key and click in the gray around around the player, it enables and Edit mode." That lets you drag around the buttons and resize the video window, so you don't have to manually change x/y coordinates in the xml. Oh, and it lets you replace the button skins (& background pic) by clicking on them.

Hi Bruzer,

Thanks for the help, although I'm not sure this particular reference works in this case. Is your quote for Firestarter? It doesn't seem to apply to the Web Player; at least not in a way I can get it to work. Thanks all the same. Hopefully CC will update this software and allow for larger (even full screen) player options.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
