Don't forget though, that the .swf and .xml files do not upload to the same position as the .flv file. The previous 2 upload outside the files folder, whilst the .flv file uploads with the player images inside the files folder.

But if Adam was right in the fact that someone had corrupted .swf files, then these would impact directly upon the other files uploaded.

Did you see my other post about your flv problem?

Yes, I saw it, but did some checking. The program accepts up to 500 Mb of video............ I am way below that with my 2 minutes of video which go from 3 Mb to about 10 Mb in all. If the internal ftp can't deal with that, indeed it is a very sad situation!!
Apart from the fact that I too tend to use a standalone ftp program for almost everything too...........

I have no idea what this line meant:
"Adam, was that I was able to upload his files!"
haha I don't know what's up with the goofy .swf, but it wasn't the first time this happened to someone. I couldn't find the last thread in the search. I uploaded my files with CoreFTP, so I can't say if the built-in FTP could be the culprit. Seems a little odd that the program would be inconsistent in how it sends. I've uploaded other files before w/ the built-in FTP and had no problem. Weirdness, I tell you. http://www.flashstrap.com

Adam, I think I must have been dribbling or something at the time. It should have said "Adam, but I was able to upload his files!"

I have since taken my anti-dribble tablets!

All I can say is, I am glad that you are now able to get your videos up online (liked that skier person doing whatever he was doing). I would say to anybody thinking about this programme, that it is great. Well, least it can be now!

I am pleased this is sorta sorted.

It's called snow boarding Mark, Jeeez, I know that and I'm OLD.
lol :)

"Personal message" to Mark: Max (the one who did all those nice skins for jukebox) needs some info on the frames for photo gallery idea you had. See last thread on "additional skins">

I bet Mark gets that off his Mum.........I know my Mum does the same thing...........she sometimes fakes that she doesn't know something when she knows that I know that she knows it perfectly well.............
I would go even further, and bet that that was Mark hiding under that hood sliding around there........
;D

ps. wouldn't surprise me to know that he was even the guy who invented snowboards in the first place :( http://www.venicefromtheinside.com
